Terms of Use

Estimates only

PourMath provides material-quantity and cost estimates for planning purposes only. Calculator results, bag counts, material costs, and installed-cost ranges are ballparks. They are not quotes, engineering, or professional advice. Confirm quantities and structural dimensions (especially footings and load-bearing slabs) against engineered plans, local building code, and your ready-mix supplier before ordering or pouring.

Safety and assumption of risk

Concrete work is physically hazardous. Wet cement is strongly alkaline and can cause serious chemical burns; concrete dust contains respirable crystalline silica that can damage your lungs; materials are heavy; and an under-built structural pour can fail. You are responsible for safe work practices and protective equipment, and you assume the risk of physical injury from any project you undertake. Footings, foundations, and load-bearing slabs should follow engineered plans, local building code, and a licensed professional. Our content is general information, not safety or engineering advice.

No warranty

The site and its calculators are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PourMath is not liable for shortages, overages, project costs, personal injury or bodily harm, or any other damages arising from use of these estimates or from concrete work performed in reliance on them.

Quote requests

Submitting a quote request authorizes us to share your submission with local contractors and lead-generation partners who may contact you, as described in our privacy policy. Contractors are independent businesses; PourMath is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any work they quote or perform. Vet licensing, insurance, and references yourself.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape at abusive volume, submit false quote requests, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may refuse or discard submissions that appear fraudulent or automated.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. Questions: contact@pourmath.com.
